I noticed a couple hours ago, you had a meeting with another possible CEO. I saw him arrive. How'd that go?
두어 시간 전 쯤에, 다른 CEO 후보를 만난 것 같던데요. 오는 걸 봤어요.  어떻게 됐어요?
 
--Jules--
It was going well until he called us... I believe the term he used was a "chick site."
괜찮았죠... 그 사람이 우리를 "계집애들 사이트" 라고 부르기 전까지는요.
 
And I didn't hear anything he said after that. Apparently, selling clothes makes us a "chick site."
그 뒤부터는 마무 말도 안 들리더라구요.  옷을 판다고 우리를 "계집애 사이트" 라고 하는 거예요.
 
I mean, really? How is this not legit?
믿어지세요?  어떻게 이게 제대로 된 사업이 아니예요?

I couldn't agree more. I find that surprising.
도저히 동의할 수가 없네요. 너무 놀라워요.
 
--Jules--
Really? Sexism in business? So... What did you do for work, Ben, before you retired?
그렇죠? 사업에서 성차별이라니...  그건 그렇고... 벤은 은퇴전에 무슨 일을 하셨어요?
 
--Ben--
I was a VP for Dex One.
덱스 원 부사장이었어요.
 
--Jules--
Phonebooks?
전화번호부요?
 
--Ben--
Yeah. I was in charge of printing, and before that I ran sales and advertising.
네. 저는 인쇄를 담당했죠, 그 전엔 영업과 광고를 맡았었구요.
 
--Jules--
Big jobs.                       Wasn't this a factory that used to make phonebooks?   No! What?
대단한 일을 하셨네요.  여기가 원래 전화번호부 공장 아니었나요?                   설마! 뭐라구요?
 
--Ben--
Yeah.

--Jules--
What? This is where you worked?
뭐라구요? 여기서 일하셨다구요?
 
--Ben--
For almost 40 years. Oh. Yeah. For twenty-some years I sat right by that window. That was my office.
거의 40년 동안요.     네. 맞아요. 20년 넘게 저 창가가 제 자리였죠.                         저기가 내 사무실이었어요.
 
It was a few steps up backthen And we could look out over the whole factory.
그 때는 조금 높았었죠, 그래서 공장 전체가 다 내려다 보였어요.
 
Our printing presses were in that corner. That's why the floor dips back there.
저쪽 코너에 인쇄 기계가 있었구요.          그래서 저기 바닥이 파여 있는 거예요.

--Ben--
I know everything about this building. Or used to.    You know the sycamores on the other side of the building?
이 건물의 모든 것을 다 알아요.          훤히 다 알죠.  건물 뒤 편에 있는 단풍나무 알죠?
 
--Jules--
Yeah.
네.
 
--Ben--
The big ones?
큰 거요?
 
--Jules--
Yeah. The big ones. I love them.
네.     큰 거요.          제가 정말 좋아해요.
 
--Ben--
Yeah. I remember the day they were planted.
네.     그 나무를 심은 날이 기억나네요.
 
--Jules--
Is it totally weird being back here?
돌아오시니 이상하지 않으세요?
 
--Ben--
Well, it feels like home. lt's Remodeled, but home.
음,   집 같은 느낌이죠. 리모델링 했지만, 집이죠.
